Editorial Policy & Content Standards
How we research Malaysian tax guidance, identify limitations and correct content.
Who publishes this website
Tax Help is a tax enquiry and professional referral brand operated by O2O Alliance Sdn. Bhd. It is not the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (HASiL / LHDN). We do not represent that the website itself is a licensed tax practice.
How content is prepared
The Tax Help editorial team prepares informational copy using identifiable official legislation, HASiL frameworks, public rulings, service descriptions and other relevant public material. Source links are provided so readers can verify original guidance. Editorial drafting is not equivalent to a qualified practitioner reviewing a particular case.
Professional verification status
Our current English Insights and four tax-service guides have undergone an internal factual and source review dated 25 October 2026. A separate review by an appropriately qualified Malaysian tax professional has not been represented as complete. Named reviewers and their credentials will only be published if independently verified and consented.
Corrections and updates
Readers may report an error or outdated guidance to [email protected]. We assess material corrections against official primary sources and will update affected pages when supported. Update dates are not changed merely for cosmetic or search-ranking reasons.
Independence and referrals
Tax Help collects preliminary enquiries and may introduce clients to suitably qualified tax service providers subject to consent and the provider’s terms. Any specific regulated advice, representation, scope and fees are agreed directly under a separate engagement. We do not promise outcomes.
Privacy and security
Please do not send NRIC, passport numbers, tax file numbers, detailed assessments or other confidential documents through the initial web form. Only share sensitive records through an appropriately secure channel once an engagement and recipient are confirmed.
Legal and procedural limitations
Statutory appeals, review routes and time limits depend on the notice, tax type and governing legislation. The e-Rayuan service does not cover every assessment category. Official guidance takes precedence over summaries on this website.
